One of if not the most demanding athletic sport has to be the hurdles. By combining multiple athletic events such as sprinting and jumping, running the hurdles is also one of the most difficult sports to learn and master. With that said, there are numerous videos and training examples that claim to have the best workout formula for mastering the hurdles. However, these three training drills for hurdles are proven by athletes themselves as a great way to get better at the sport. In fact, by practicing these drills constantly and consistently, an athlete is sure to see tremendous progress in attributes such as form and speed for running hurdles. By utilizing these drills as much as possible, a hurdle athlete can improve mechanics to such an extent that other people will take notice. #3: Arch Gate Drill
For the first workout on the list, we have the Arch Gate Drill. An athlete training this drill will not have perfect form every time but, one of the goals of this drill is to maintain form for as long as possible so as to build muscle memory.
